The water-resistant outer layer has hoods for parent and child as well as plenty of pockets---super-practical for protection from water and wind. The inner fleece layer is soft and cozy-warm. Each of the two layers will serve you well in moderate temperatures, and then together they will take you through the winter. Suse's babywearing Kindercoat comes with three zip-in panels for front wearing: one for each layer, and a third double-layered panel for use with the full two-layered coat. No panel is needed for back wearing. Design includes plenty of thougtful extras like two-way zippers and underarm vents.
